What you can automate with Outlook Calendar

Actions

What a workflow can do next.

Workflows you can build

Each one starts from a real situation and uses only nodes that exist today. Test it on past emails before you publish it.

  • Propose slots within working hours

Free slots are read from your calendar, within your working hours, and offered in a drafted reply.

    1. Email received
    2. Categorize
    3. Find an Outlook slot
    4. Compose (AI)
    5. Send as draft
  • Book the appointment without surprise invitations

The confirmed meeting goes into your calendar; attendees are only invited if you turn the option on.

    1. Email received
    2. Extract
    3. Create an Outlook event

How to connect Outlook Calendar

The calendar is a separate access on your Microsoft connection, granted on its own when you need it.

Before you start

  • A Microsoft 365 work or school account. Personal accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live) cannot be connected.
  • The Calendar access granted on your Microsoft connection.

The full guide in the documentation

  1. An administrator of your Loop & Roll instance registers your organisation’s application in Microsoft Entra ID once.
  2. Each member opens Connections, clicks Add a connection, then Connect on the Microsoft card, and accepts the consent screen.
  3. On the account’s row in Connections, add the Calendar access: a separate consent, for that access only.
  4. Pick the account in the node: the workflow acts with that member’s own rights.
