OneDrive

Email attachments, filed in OneDrive for you

Workflows drop attachments — or text you write — into the right OneDrive folder, create folders without duplicates on a retry, and search your files when a decision depends on them.

What you can automate with OneDrive

Actions

What a workflow can do next.

  • Upload to OneDrive

Uploads the attachments (from the email or added by a step) — or some text — into a folder of your OneDrive.

  • Search OneDrive

Searches files in your OneDrive and puts the list into the working data.

  • Create a OneDrive folder

Creates a folder unless it already exists — a retry creates no duplicate.

Workflows you can build

Each one starts from a real situation and uses only nodes that exist today. Test it on past emails before you publish it.

  • A folder for every new client

The folder is created unless it exists, then the documents from the email are uploaded into it.

  • Archive receipts by month

Receipts are recognised and saved into the folder of the month, ready for your accountant.

How to connect OneDrive

OneDrive is a separate access on your Microsoft connection, granted on its own when you need it.

Before you start

  • A Microsoft 365 work or school account. Personal accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live) cannot be connected.
  • The Files access granted on your Microsoft connection.

The full guide in the documentation

  1. An administrator of your Loop & Roll instance registers your organisation’s application in Microsoft Entra ID once.
  2. Each member opens Connections, clicks Add a connection, then Connect on the Microsoft card, and accepts the consent screen.
  3. On the account’s row in Connections, add the Files access: a separate consent, for that access only.
  4. Pick the account in the node: the workflow acts with that member’s own rights.
