SharePoint

Your SharePoint sites, fed straight from your email

Documents arrive by email; they belong in SharePoint, in the right library, with the right columns. Workflows file them, fill in their metadata, create folders from templates and keep your lists current.

Workflows you can build

Each one starts from a real situation and uses only nodes that exist today. Test it on past emails before you publish it.

  • Open a matter folder from a template

A new instruction creates the matter’s folder tree by copying your template, subfolders included.

    1. Email received
    2. Extract
    3. SharePoint — create from a template
  • File and tag incoming documents

Attachments are uploaded to the library and their Client, Matter and Document type columns filled in.

    1. Email received
    2. Extract
    3. SharePoint — upload
    4. SharePoint — write the columns
  • Send a link, not 200 MB of attachments

A revocable sharing link is created and placed in the drafted reply instead of heavy files.

    1. Email received
    2. SharePoint — create a sharing link
    3. Compose
    4. Send as draft
  • Keep a deadlines list current

Each reminder updates the matching row of a SharePoint list instead of adding a second one.

    1. Email received
    2. Extract
    3. SharePoint — create or update a row

How to connect SharePoint

SharePoint is a separate access on your Microsoft connection. Loop & Roll works on the sites you can already open, never more.

Before you start

  • A Microsoft 365 work or school account. Personal accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live) cannot be connected.
  • The SharePoint access granted on your Microsoft connection, which needs tenant-wide admin consent.
  • Access to the sites you want to automate: Loop & Roll acts with your own rights.

The full guide in the documentation

  1. An administrator of your Loop & Roll instance registers your organisation’s application in Microsoft Entra ID once.
  2. Each member opens Connections, clicks Add a connection, then Connect on the Microsoft card, and accepts the consent screen.
  3. On the account’s row in Connections, add the SharePoint access: a separate consent, for that access only.
  4. Pick the account in the node: the workflow acts with that member’s own rights.

Automate SharePoint with Loop & Roll

We build the workflow around your processes, test it on your past emails and put it into service with your teams.
