Link the OpenAI (GPT) model node to the Model port of any AI node: that step then runs on OpenAI.

How to connect OpenAI

An administrator adds one OpenAI key for the whole organisation. Members then use it from the workflow editor without ever seeing it.

Before you start

  • An OpenAI Platform account with billing set up.
  • An administrator account on Loop & Roll: only administrators manage AI connections.

The full guide in the documentation

  1. Create an API key in the OpenAI Platform.
  2. As an administrator, open Connections and, in the Artificial intelligence section, click Configure on the OpenAI row.
  3. Paste the key, choose the models your organisation may use, then click Save and Test.
  4. In a workflow, link a OpenAI model node to the Model port of any AI node.
