What you can automate with Anthropic Claude

Link the Anthropic (Claude) model node to the Model port of any AI node: that step then runs on Anthropic Claude.

Actions

The AI steps this model can power.

  • Categorize

Classifies the email into the categories you define and routes it down the matching branch.

  • Extract

Extracts the fields you declare from the email (number, date, amount…) into the working data.

  • Summarize

Summarizes the email in a few lines, in the style and length you choose.

  • Compose (AI)

Has the model write a message from your instructions and the recipient profile (formality, tone, language, signature).

  • Free instruction (AI)

Gives the model a free-form instruction about the email and the working data.

Workflows you can build

Each one starts from a real situation and uses only nodes that exist today. Test it on past emails before you publish it.

  • Summarize long threads for the team

A long exchange is summarized in a few lines in the style you choose, then posted to the team’s channel.

    3. Notify
  • Spot what the client is really asking

A free instruction returns structured JSON — intent, urgency, deadline — that the next nodes branch on.

    3. Condition (If)
    4. Flag
  • Prepare careful replies

Claude drafts the answer from your instructions and the contact’s profile; an approval stands between the draft and the send.

How to connect Anthropic Claude

An administrator adds one Anthropic key for the whole organisation. Members then use it from the workflow editor without ever seeing it.

Before you start

  • An Anthropic Console account with billing set up.
  • An administrator account on Loop & Roll: only administrators manage AI connections.

The full guide in the documentation

  1. Create an API key in the Anthropic Console.
  2. As an administrator, open Connections and, in the Artificial intelligence section, click Configure on the Anthropic row.
  3. Paste the key, choose the models your organisation may use, then click Save and Test.
  4. In a workflow, link a Anthropic model node to the Model port of any AI node.
